Engineers Report
We offer all Brokerage customers the opportunity to have a full engineers report on their boat before it goes on sale. This has proven a very successful sales aid for small to medium size boats that would not necessarily be subject to survey. We charge a nominal £60 + vat for this.
If you decide to remove your boat from brokerage or sell it privately within 3 months of signing the brokerage agreement we will charge a nominal £50 + vat. This is purely to cover our administration and advertizing costs.
How does it work?
You either fill in our enquiry form or call us
We will discuss your vessel, value & commission rate (varies dependant on value)
Upon initial agreement we will send you a brokerage form to complete and sign
When we receive this we will arrange a time to survey and photograph your boat (you may wish to provide your own images)
We will then advertise your boat as described above
Dependant on size, we may offer to put your boat on our display pontoon in rotation (no charge)
When offers come in, these will be put to you for consideration
When an acceptable offer is made we will take a deposit
The buyer at this time will be given an 'on water' trial and the opportunity to survey or independent engineer report
When satisfied, we will receive full payment which goes into our client account.
When funds are cleared we will pay you directly, less our commission + vat
It's that simple!
